Personal background:
My name is Jamyang Thinley Nima and I was born in 2012. I am currently enrolled in Class VIIIA. I hail from Sangphu, a village located in the Tsenkhar Gewog under Lhuntse Dzongkhag. My father is a Principal, and my mother works as an ECCD facilitator. I am blessed with an elder brother who finished studying Class XII . Throughout my journey, I have been fortunate to receive nurturing guidance and education from my parents and teachers, which has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today.
Educational history:
My education journey has been a mix of good achievements and some challenges. I have worked hard and done well in my studies, which makes me proud. But there have been times when I found certain subjects difficult and had to put in extra effort.
I have been lucky to have a lot of support from my parents, teachers, and mentors. They have always encouraged me and believed in my abilities. Their support has motivated me to keep going, even when things get tough.
My big goal is to finish my education successfully, especially in Buddhist philosophy.
Interest and hobbies:
Besides academics, I have a range of interests and hobbies that I enjoy pursuing in school. I love sports and being part of a team. Music is important to me, and I enjoy singing and listening to Bhutanese songs. Dancing brings me joy and allows me to express myself. I strongly believe in volunteer work and giving back to the community.
Personality traits:
My personality is a unique combination of traits that influence my approach to learning and interacting with others. I possess strengths such as curiosity, creativity, determination, and empathy. These qualities drive me to ask questions, think outside the box, work hard, and understand others' feelings. While I have weaknesses like time management, I actively work on improving them.
Challenges:
I have faced the persistent challenge of frequent headaches and the fear of being alone. These difficulties have played a significant role in shaping my character, instilling in me qualities such as resilience, confidence, and a strong understanding of the importance of self-care. Through these challenges, I have learned to perceive them as opportunities for personal growth and development. Moreover, my experiences have fostered a deep desire within me to support and assist others who may be facing similar struggles.
Goal and aspirations:
Academically, my short-term goal is to excel in my current studies, particularly in English subjects that align with my interests and future aspirations. In the long term, I aspire to pursue further education in Buddhist Philosophy.
On a personal level, my short-term goal is to prioritize well-being and maintain a healthy work-life balance by practicing self-care, mindfulness, and nurturing positive relationships. In the long term, I aim to make a positive impact on society and contribute to the betterment of others.
Relation and support system:
Throughout my educational journey, I have been fortunate to have good relationships with family, friends, mentors, and teachers. They have provided unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement, influencing me to excel as a student. My family has nurtured and motivated me, while my friends have provided companionship. Mentors have shared wisdom and helped me navigate challenges, and teachers have inspired a love for learning. These relationships have shaped my academic path and contributed to my growth and success.
Turning point in your life:
My father as a teacher has facilitaed me to study, providing study schedules, resouces and guidance while my mother always encouraged and provided refreshment during the before last year class VI board exam as I was quite poor in academics. As a result, I successfully passed the Class VI Board Exam with an impressive score of 80.65%. . Henceforth, I came to realize that hard work is a key to success.
