Title: Love at First Sight
Genre: Short Story

It was a summer afternoon; I found myself wondering through the local park, enjoying the crunch of leaves underfoot and the scent of fresh air mixed with the earthy aroma of fallen follage.

As I strolled, I noticed a small gathering near the chorten. I look closer and saw a group of children playing badminton. Among them was a figure that caught my eye a girl sitting on ground, her long hair over her shoulders like a waterfall of chestnut. she wore a soft blue sweater that complemented the colors around her, and she had and easy smile that seemed to light up the entire scene.

I could not look away. There was something enchanting about the way she interacted with the children, her laughter genuine and warm. In those fleeting moments, I felt an connection as if I had known forever.

Heart racing, I hesitated, unsure of what to do. I had never believed in love at first sight, but there was something magical in the air that day. Summoning my palms slightly sweaty. As I approached, she looked up, her gaze meeting mine with an intensity that took my breath away.

"Hi" I managed to say, my voice barely above a whisper.

She smiled, a smile that felt like sunshine breaking through clouds.

As we talked, it was as if time stood still. I was captivated not just by her beauty but her kindness in her voice. Minutes turned into hours, and we shared stories and our dream. Eventually, the sun began to set and I realized I had to leave. "Can I see you again" I asked, my heart pounding, as she replied, "I am sorry". How about next weekend? she said goodbye to me and she left. Walking home that evening, I felt lighter, as the world has shifted. And then I have never seen her for 2 years. I sometimes come to chorten in vacation but I never forget her in my life.
